Mia Babalis is a Los Angeles-based artist. Her work spans painting, sculpture, and installation, delving into the transient and ephemeral nature of life.
Before embarking on her path as a visual artist, Mia enjoyed a long career as a modern dancer in New York, performing in the Alvin Ailey Repertory Ensemble, Ballet Hispanico of New York, Mikhail Baryshnikov’s White Oak Dance Project, and the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company.
She received her BFA from Otis College of Art and Design, graduating with honors in 2005.
